Are you sure about the 1-13-80? I was lucky enough to be at the rest of those shows and I remember from Bobby's intro from 8-22-87: "We've been friends with Carlos for many years but never actually played together. Now we're going to see if he remembers this as well as we do, or if we even remember it ourselves"> Good Morning Little Schoolgirl (1st post Pig I think).

Just curious is all, they were all a lot of fun and I certainly wouldn't complain about an unknown GD/Carlos...

Thanks for the heads up. I'll check that out... John Cipollina was always my other favorite guest!

04-28-91 Sam Boyd Silver Bowl, U.N.L.V., Las Vegas, Nv.

think that was the finest show I ever witnessed.
I managed to make in front and behind both sides right and left of the stage not to mention the bleachers and the Lot.
Wet,sticky and supurb sound all around those days in the Silverbowl.
Carlos rocked
Remember jerry coming on watching a rainbow over some pyramid shaped hill off in the distance.
very good mems..
How I remember anything of that weekend is beyond a miracle.
Got to drink for free all night heinikens at slots of fun for nuthing.

Sure would enjoy hearing recordings of what Santana did those days.

Any clues anybody?

He played on Bird Song and Other One and I have that show show but only on cassette. Really fine Foolish Heart was played as well.
